We have developed a complex software package that allows us to simulate industrial processes (continuous and batch), interface with DCS consoles or run entirely on a PC (we much prefer the latter, it saves the hassle of having to deal with third party hardware and software), and create a 3D (virtual reality) model that fully integrates into the simulation.
Our product is used for operator training with alarms, control screens, trends, faceplates, etc. Historically we have dealt with the pulp and paper industry. We have simulated every process in more than one mill, from power and recovery boilers to Kamyr digesters to bleaching to paper machines. We are starting to branch out to other industries, the package can do the job, it is unique and very powerful.
